Caroline Adepoju, the Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), has announced a state of emergency regarding passport issues in the country.
During her visit to Lagos, Adepoju highlighted the urgent need to address the challenges faced by Nigerians in obtaining international passports.
As part of the visit, she inaugurated a state-of-the-art Visa-on-Arrival Lounge at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, emphasizing the NIS’s commitment to enhancing the travel experience for visitors entering Nigeria.
Adepoju also outlined a comprehensive plan of action to effectively tackle the passport-related issues.
