Enugu governor Peter Mbah pledges to boost state’s GDP from $4.4b to $30b

Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has set a target to increase the state’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) from $4.4 billion to $30 billion in the near future.

Recognizing the significance of security in achieving this goal, Mbah held a meeting with top security officials, traditional rulers, civil society organizations, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for ensuring peace, security, and safety in the state.

He emphasized that a peaceful environment is crucial for economic growth and promised to make Enugu State a place its citizens can be proud of.

Furthermore, the governor encouraged Enugu indigenes to invest in the state, highlighting the need to prioritize economic development.

Mbah also reiterated his ban on sit-at-home orders, expressing a commitment to engage in constructive dialogue to foster lasting peace and security in Enugu State.
