Man arrested for defiling 7-year-old girl in Adamawa State blames Burukutu beer.

The 39-year-old suspect, identified as Sadiq Ahmed from Yola South Local Government Area, confessed to the crime, stating that he was under the influence of Burukutu at the time.

He expressed deep regret for his actions, claiming that he only consumes Burukutu.

The incident came to light after the victim’s father reported the incident to the police, stating that the suspect had visited their home in their absence, gave his daughter N10, and then sexually assaulted her.

The Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, expressed concern and assured that the suspect would be prosecuted.
