Richard Treat Williams, a celebrated American actor recognized for his notable performances in films like “Hair” and “Prince of the City,” as well as TV shows such as “Blue Bloods” and “Chicago Fire,” has tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Vermont at the age of 71.
The collision occurred when a Honda SUV turned left into a parking lot, colliding with Williams’ motorcycle.
Despite wearing a helmet, the impact caused him critical injuries, and he was airlifted to a medical center where he was pronounced dead.

The SUV driver sustained minor injuries, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Williams, who lived in southern Vermont, was highly respected in the industry, known for his immense talent and his significant contributions to Hollywood since the late 1970s.
He leaves behind his wife Pam Van Sant and two children.
