Ekpa urges DSS to permit independent doctors for Nnamdi Kanu’s treatment

Simon Ekpa, Biafra agitator and Prime Minister of Biafra Republic in Exile, has called on the Department of State Security (DSS) to re-admit the two doctors who were previously denied access to see Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The DSS had rejected an independent medical team brought by Kanu’s family and associates, despite the medical unit clearing the two doctors who intended to treat Kanu’s deteriorating ear condition.

In a statement released through his official Twitter handle, Ekpa condemned the actions of expelled IPOB members who obstructed the process.

He clarified that the two doctors were chosen by Kanu himself and emphasized that the expelled members had no right to select doctors for Kanu.

Ekpa emphasized that the doctors’ visit was aimed at arranging the necessary medical care for Kanu, not performing surgery at a DSS facility.

He urged the DSS to readmit the doctors and facilitate their visit to Kanu as per his preferences.
