Davido has disclosed that his father, Chief Adedeji Adeleke, had built him the finest studio in Nigeria, where artists like D’banj and Wizkid used to visit.

In a recent interview with Omega, Davido revealed that although he was primarily focused on learning sound engineering at the time, his friends encouraged him to record his own music.

Despite initially hesitating due to being in school, he eventually agreed and recorded his first song, which became a huge success.

Davido reminisced about the days when his studio would be open every two weeks for collaborations and shared how he would offer ideas for singing hooks to others.
