Former Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, has accused Nnolim Nnaji, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee of Aviation, of demanding a 5% stake in the proposed national carrier, Nigeria Air.
Sirika made the allegation during an interview with Arise Television. Nnaji had previously criticized Nigeria Air as a fraudulent deal.

During the interview, Sirika revealed that Nnaji had asked for the 5% stake to benefit himself and his associates.
Sirika defended his decision, stating that the bidding process had taken place, and others had already secured the stake.
Nnaji responded, calling Sirika’s allegations lies and claiming that the former minister was grasping for survival amidst criticism of the Nigeria Air project.
