In Rongai, Kajiado County, Kenya, authorities have initiated an investigation after a distressing incident where a woman allegedly killed her two children and stabbed her husband multiple times.

Christine Karimi, currently in critical condition at Kenyatta National Hospital, is accused of attacking her husband, Rodgers Andere, after a heated argument on June 8, 2023.

The couple, known to have occasional domestic disputes, reportedly had ongoing issues at their residence in Taaria Apartments.

After Andere returned home past 1 am, the situation escalated, resulting in Karimi stabbing him in the head and neck.

Thankfully, Andere managed to escape and seek assistance from neighbors. Meanwhile, Karimi is said to have locked the doors and tragically ended the lives of their two children before attempting self-harm.

The police have recovered the murder weapon and are actively investigating the incident.

Both Andere and Karimi are currently receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital, while their deceased children have been taken to the City Mortuary.
