The Gombe State Police Command has apprehended Sale Kabo, a 30-year-old resident of Bandila village in Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State, for engaging in cattle rustling valued at N7 million.
ASP Mahid Abubakar, the command’s Public Relations Officer, revealed during a press conference that Kabo committed the crime in Funakaye Local Government Area.
The incident was reported by Jauro Ahmadu, a 75-year-old from Shuwari village in Bajoga, Funakaye LGA, who stated that 21 of his cattle were stolen overnight.

The Divisional Police Officer initiated an investigation, leading to Kabo’s arrest and the recovery of the stolen cattle.
Kabo is presently in police custody and will face legal charges once the investigation is completed.
