Glo introduces data plans for pilgrims on Mecca pilgrimage

Glo has announced the launch of data roaming plans specifically tailored for Nigerians undertaking the 2023 pilgrimage in Mecca.

The aim is to provide pilgrims with the opportunity to stay connected, capture memorable moments, and share them with loved ones back home.

To facilitate this, Glo has introduced unique data roaming packages, offering subscribers the ability to enjoy data services in Mecca at a rate of N5/MB.

These packages include options such as 3GB for N15,000 with a 30-day validity, 1.25GB for N6,500 with a 15-day validity, 600MB for N3,500 with a 7-day validity, and 300MB for N2,000 with a 3-day validity.

To access these offers, customers simply need to sign up for the roaming packages by dialing *777# and selecting option 6 for data roaming.

The data bundles can be purchased in Nigeria, and their validity begins upon the user’s arrival in Mecca.

Glo assures customers that they have full control over their data usage, and there are no concerns about unexpected charges as they only utilize the purchased data bundle.

To further assist customers, consumption messages will be sent at regular intervals, enabling them to monitor their data usage effectively.
