Brigadier General Yusha’u Dogara Ahmed, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has called upon all NYSC staff to align with the administration’s policy direction to revitalize the organization for greater achievements.

He made this appeal during the Opening Ceremony of the 2023 Key Performance Indicators Workshop for NYSC Schedule Officers in Abuja.

The workshop, themed “Enhancing KPIs Framework For Effective Programme Management, Research and Development,” was organized for officers from the NYSC’s state offices, area offices, and the National Directorate Headquarters.

General Ahmed praised the participants for their dedication to the development and successful implementation of the NYSC’s 5-year strategic master plan.

He emphasized that the workshop would equip them with essential skills to improve their efficiency and effectiveness in carrying out their responsibilities, including research, monitoring, evaluation, and documentation.

Alhaji Ahmed Wada Ikaka, the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics, also highlighted the importance of proficiency in ICT tools for better performance evaluation and discharge of official duties.
