In a recent social media post, Daniel Regha, a popular commentator, expressed his disbelief at the fact that gospel artist Mercy Chinwo charges N10 million for church performances.

Regha argued that gospel artists should not demand payment for their services in church.

According to him, the church should only be responsible for providing hospitality and covering transportation expenses, if necessary.

Regha emphasized that it is wrong to pay anyone to perform in a church setting, stating that a true Christian would not charge for their services.

This comes after Rev. Fr. Chinenye Oluoma, a Catholic priest, also criticized the high fees charged by Mercy Chinwo and raised concerns about the increasing cost of religious worship.
