During his visit to the Office of the National Security Adviser and the National Counter Terrorism Centre in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu issued a warning to security agencies regarding disharmony and intelligence hoarding.
He emphasized that these practices hinder Nigeria’s efforts in countering terrorism. Tinubu stressed the importance of unity and information sharing among security agencies, likening it to the harmony in an orchestra.

He stressed that information and intelligence cannot be hoarded but must be shared among relevant agencies.
This warning came shortly after Tinubu expressed his disapproval of security agencies working at cross purposes during a meeting with Service Chiefs.
He also directed them to combat oil theft, which negatively affects Nigeria’s oil output.
Tinubu called for coordinated and harmonized efforts among the armed forces to ensure a singular focus on securing the country.
