Sources have confirmed that Pauline Tallen, the former Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, is currently in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja.
The EFCC operatives at the agency’s Zonal Headquarters in Wuse interrogated Tallen, although specific details regarding the allegations against her remain scarce.

However, a source familiar with the case revealed that the investigation revolves around allegations of corrupt enrichment amounting to N2 billion.
The source also mentioned that some of the funds in question were allegedly diverted from the African First Lady Peace Mission Project. As of 8:30 pm, Tallen was still undergoing questioning by EFCC investigators.
