Tinubu, Makinde, Wike, and Ibori convene high level meeting

President Bola Tinubu convened a meeting on Friday with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, and former Delta State Governor James Ibori.

The trio of Makinde, Wike, and Ibori arrived at the meeting venue at approximately 4:25 pm, coinciding with the departure of Herbert Wigwe, CEO of Access Holding Plc, who had just visited the President’s office.

Both Makinde and Wike are considered strong allies of Tinubu, having played significant roles in his presidential election campaign in February.

Previously, Wike had invited Tinubu to inaugurate projects in Port Harcourt, and their reported alliance grew after a meeting with APC governors in 2022, including Kayode Fayemi, Rotimi Akeredolu, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
