PDP witness at tribunal alleges being forced to sign presidential poll result in Kogi

During the cross-examination at the Presidential Election Petition Court, Joe Agada, the first witness of the People Democratic Party (PDP), made some significant allegations regarding the manipulation of BVAS devices and the signing of results in the last presidential election.

Agada, a retired captain and trained pharmacist, stated that he was coerced into signing the results as the state collation officer in Kogi State.

He claimed that the BVAS devices were manipulated in at least 20 polling units across two senatorial districts, which he personally visited.

Agada also alleged that he was forced to sign the results at the state level by officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He admitted that he did not include these incidents in his initial witness deposition but explained that he signed the forms to ensure his party received a copy.
