Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed a commitment to strengthen economic cooperation with Nigeria, emphasizing the country’s significance to Africa and the world.

President Jinping conveyed this message through his special envoy and vice chairperson of the National People’s Congress (NPC), Peng Qinghua, during a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.

The Chinese delegation, which included Ambassador Cui Jinachun and Minister-Counselor Zhang Yi, highlighted the positive bilateral relations and ongoing economic collaboration between the two nations.

The statement, issued by Tinubu’s aide, Tunde Rahman, affirmed the existing strong ties and cooperation between China and Nigeria.
