Tragedy struck in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, as three individuals lost their lives when a vehicle collided with two motorcycles and a passenger.

The incident took place at the Agbeloba junction in the area. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver of a Ford Mondeo car lost control, leading to the unfortunate deaths.

Babatunde Akinbiyi, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, confirmed the incident.

He stated that the collision resulted in the instant death of the two motorcycle riders and the female passenger. The driver managed to escape amidst the crowd of sympathizers gathered at the scene.

Akinbiyi mentioned that the bodies of the victims were claimed by their respective family members, who identified them.
