Eddie Hearn, the promoter of Anthony Joshua, has disclosed the upcoming fights for the former heavyweight boxing champion this year.
According to boxing-social.com, Hearn revealed that Joshua’s first fight will be against Dillian Whyte in August.
Hearn also mentioned that Fury’s team has reached out regarding a potential fight, as Fury has been seeking a summer opponent.
The possibility of a fight between Joshua and Fury at Wembley Stadium in September was discussed, although Hearn denied receiving a “draft contract.”

Initially, Joshua was expected to face Whyte in August and then take on Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia in December.
Hearn expressed interest in the Fury fight but stated that they are unlikely to deviate from their original plans unless the Fury fight materializes.
While they are interested, they remain focused on the August and December fights, with the Fury bout as a potential alternative.
If the Joshua vs. Fury fight does happen, it would disrupt Saudi Arabia’s plans to host Fury vs. Usyk and Joshua vs. Wilder on the same night, creating further complications.
