MASSOB appeals to Tinubu for the release of Nnamdi Kanu

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has called upon President Bola Tinubu to release Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who is currently held by the Department of State Services.

Uchenna Madu, the leader of MASSOB, made this plea in a statement issued on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of Biafra.

The statement acknowledged the sacrifices made by Biafra’s gallant soldiers and the sufferings endured by the people for the cause of freedom.

MASSOB emphasized its commitment to non-violent means in the struggle for self-determination and the restoration of Biafra.

The group demanded President Tinubu’s intervention in securing Nnamdi Kanu’s release and expressed gratitude to the people of Biafra for their participation in the anniversary celebration.
