The Edo State chapter of the Labour Party has expressed confidence in securing a significant number of local government areas in the upcoming local government elections.

The party has also called on the Edo State Electoral Commission to ensure a credible and fair process that creates an equal platform for all participating political parties.

Dr. Oghogho Okundaye, a leader and chieftain of the Labour Party in Edo State, emphasized that the party has successfully conducted its primary elections to select its chairmanship candidates.

He stated that the party relies on its strong grassroots support, particularly from the youth population, to achieve electoral success.
