Shettima reveals key decisions anticipated from Tinubu’s administration

Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, has highlighted two major challenges that will initially confront the incoming administration: the removal of petrol subsidy and the elimination of multiple exchange rate systems.

Speaking at a public lecture and Juma’at prayer held at the National Mosque in Abuja, Shettima cautioned that the beginning of Bola Tinubu’s administration might be difficult.

He acknowledged that the removal of oil subsidy and the presence of multiple exchange rates are burdensome for the country’s economy.

Shettima assured the audience that despite the initial challenges, the decisions made by the president-elect will ultimately be appreciated and celebrated by Nigerians.

He expressed confidence that Nigeria will eventually overcome these obstacles and receive commendation for their efforts.
