Yusuf Usman Jega, the Head of Project Financial Management Unit under the Adolescent Girls’ Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Programme in Kebbi State, has been suspended by the Office of the Acting Head of Service.
The suspension was announced in a circular signed by Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena, the acting Head of Service.

The circular stated that Jega was suspended due to his refusal to provide necessary updates on the AGILE Programme activities, which constituted insubordination and disrespect to authority.
The circular further highlighted that these actions are in violation of public service rules and that Jega is liable for the offenses of insubordination and negligence of duty.
Consequently, Jega has been issued a letter of suspension, effective immediately and until further notice.
