During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Mukhtar Shagari, the former Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, shared his optimistic outlook on Bola Tinubu’s ability to achieve greatness as the President of Nigeria.

Shagari emphasized the importance of surrounding oneself with the right team to succeed in any endeavor.

Drawing a parallel to football, he explained that even the most talented captain cannot win matches without skilled strikers and a competent team.

Shagari encouraged Tinubu to replicate his success in Lagos at the national level by expanding his achievements and assembling a team of capable individuals with integrity.

Shagari advised Tinubu to prioritize national security, cautioning him to be wary of sycophants who may provide him with biased information.
