The Vatican has announced that Pope Francis had to clear his schedule due to a fever. As a result, his agenda was not made public as usual on a Friday.
Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni stated that the Pope did not receive an audience in the morning due to his feverish condition.
Over the past year, Pope Francis has experienced various health issues, including persistent knee pain and a recent hospital stay for bronchitis.
In late March, the Pope spent five days in a Rome hospital for bronchitis and quickly recovered after receiving antibiotics.

Despite recurring knee pain that has required him to use a wheelchair, Pope Francis has remained active, participating in Holy Week and Easter services.
During an interview, the Pope expressed that his health was improving, stating that he can now walk and that his knee has been healing.
He also mentioned that his bronchitis infection was caught just in time, preventing a more serious situation.
