Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has denied the claim that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has been dissolved.

Speaking to state house correspondents after the valedictory council meeting, Mohammed clarified that President Buhari has instructed them to continue working until May 29, the day of the inauguration.

He emphasized that the news of the FEC dissolution was false, stating that they have been directed to return to their offices and carry on with their work.

Mohammed urged the public to disregard the fake news and assured that the federal executive council is still active and functioning.
