A Jamaican DJ based in the UK, DJ Magic Jay, has shared an incident where he was allegedly slapped by Grammy-award-winning Nigerian singer, Wizkid, at a London event in 2018.

Despite being a fan of Nigerian afrobeats music, DJ Magic Jay claimed that when he approached Wizkid to greet him at YCee’s concert at the 02 Academy in Islington, London, the Starboy artist slapped his hand away.

He recounted this incident during an interview on Ruggedman TV, hosted by renowned Nigerian rapper, Ruggedy Baba.

During the interview, DJ Magic Jay expressed his desire to have an interview with Wizkid to understand the reason behind his actions.

He stated that he would like to unravel the motive behind Wizkid’s reaction and clarify any misunderstandings that may have occurred.
