Nigerian YouTubr, Emdee Tiamiyu, apologizes for controversial comments about Nigerian students in the UK

Nigerian YouTuber, Emdee Tiamiyu, has issued an apology for his remarks regarding Nigerian students studying in the United Kingdom during an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

Tiamiyu expressed his remorse in a video posted on his YouTube channel on Wednesday, addressing the criticism he received following the interview.

Tiamiyu had stated that many Nigerian students were not seeking new qualifications but rather aiming to start a new life abroad.

In his apology video, he clarified that his intention during the interview was to shed light on the genuine challenges faced by the black community.

Tiamiyu sincerely apologized for any inconvenience caused and expressed deep regret if the circulated content had made anyone uncomfortable.

He emphasized that his true feelings were rooted in love, progress, and positive support for others. Tiamiyu stressed that those who know him personally understand his intentions and recognize his genuine desire to address the challenges faced by the black community both in Nigeria and the UK.
