Orji Kalu salls for special funding to support job creating entrepreneurs at tastia restaurant and bakery inauguration

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the Chief Whip of the Senate, has called on the federal government to allocate special funds to entrepreneurs who are actively creating employment opportunities for citizens.

He made this statement during the inauguration of Tastia Restaurant and Bakery, a quick service restaurant (QSR) located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Kalu, a former governor of Abia State, emphasized the importance of job creation by entrepreneurs, stating that it would contribute to reducing unemployment among the youth and generate revenue for the country, particularly in the hospitality sector.

He commended Kester Agwu, the owner of Tastia, for his efforts in job creation and urged him to maintain high standards in his business.

Expressing his own commitment to job creation, Senator Kalu shared that he has employed 13,800 Nigerians across his various businesses, including 216 expatriates. He encouraged Agwu to surpass his own employment record and continue to provide opportunities for more individuals.
