I will put an end to Nigerian president’s medical trips abroad – Aisha Buhari

During the commissioning ceremony of the 21 billion Naira Presidential Wing of the State House Medical Centre in Abuja, First Lady Aisha Buhari expressed her belief that the newly inaugurated facility will eliminate the need for future presidents and their families to seek medical treatment abroad.

Aisha revealed that she had been nurturing the idea of a presidential wing since 2017, inspired by her husband’s extended medical stay in London. She emphasized the importance of having a VIP wing within close proximity to the presidential villa.

Aisha expressed her satisfaction and gratitude that the project had finally come to fruition, stating that the facility would provide a platform for the health and wellness of the First Family.

With the availability of experts, Aisha believes there will be no need for Nigerian leaders to spend prolonged periods abroad for medical care, as the new medical center will cater to their healthcare needs.
