According to Italian media outlet Il Mattino, two representatives from Chelsea were present at Napoli’s away game against Monza to observe Victor Osimhen’s performance.
Despite his team’s 2-0 loss, Osimhen, who has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Chelsea, was closely monitored by the scouting team.
Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Newcastle United are among the other clubs competing with Chelsea for Osimhen’s signature.

Although there is significant interest in the Nigerian striker, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has expressed his desire to retain the Serie A’s leading scorer.
Osimhen has been in impressive form, scoring 28 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions this season. His contributions played a pivotal role in Napoli clinching their first Serie A title since the 1989/1990 season.
Moreover, Osimhen has etched his name in the Serie A record books as the highest-scoring African player with 47 goals, surpassing the previous record held by George Weah.
