An incident unfolded in the Isheri, Olowora Road, Ojodu Berger area of Lagos, leaving residents and passers-by bewildered.
On Thursday morning, they were confronted with a startling scene in their neighborhood—an unidentified man’s lifeless body discovered inside a car.
According to an eyewitness who spoke with reporters anonymously due to fears of reprisal, the man was found naked in a black Toyota car.
His body was reportedly sprawled across the front seats, with his head resting on the driver’s seat and his legs extended onto the passenger’s seat.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that the man was not a known resident of the area. Surprisingly, no signs of violence were evident on his body. However, a resident mentioned that although the deceased was not from the neighborhood, some local vendors recognized him as a familiar face.
“We woke up to see his body lying naked in the car. There was no sign of violence on his body,” explained the resident. “No one can say what caused his death; all people can do is speculate.
He was found lying across the front seat with his head on the driver’s seat, while his leg was on the passenger’s seat. One of the hawkers in the area said he was a regular face here.
The man was completely naked, with his shirt and trousers found on the car’s floor.”
Officers from the Isheri Divisional Headquarters arrived at the scene and removed the corpse along with the vehicle. The body was subsequently transported to a local hospital morgue.
