The Nigerian Federal Government is anticipated to earn N647.7 billion from the concession of two power projects, the implementation of e-ticketing on two rail routes, and the Device Management System.
The power projects slated for concession are the Gurara II Multipurpose Dam and Hydro Power Plant, with a capacity of 360 megawatts, and the Kashimbilla Hydro Power Plant, generating 40 megawatts.
These projects will be operated and managed under a Public-Private Partnership model.
Additionally, the Lagos-Ibadan Rail Service and Warri-Itakpe Rail Service will undergo concession for the implementation of secure e-ticketing solutions.

Furthermore, the Nigerian Communications Commission has designed the Device Management System, which is also included in the projects for concession.
The Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission will provide regulatory guidance for these projects.
The Gurara II Hydro Power Plant will be executed by Messrs CGCOC Group Co. Limited under a 30-year concession period.
The Kashimbilla Hydro Power Plant will be operated and maintained by Messrs Mainstream Energy Solutions/KEPL Consortium for the same duration.
These projects aim to improve living conditions, create employment opportunities, promote agriculture through irrigation, mitigate environmental disasters caused by flooding, and preserve foreign exchange.
In addition to the power projects, the Lagos-Ibadan Rail Service concession was granted to Messers Global Software Digital Solutions Limited and Datamataic Global Services Limited, while the Warri-Itakpe Rail Service concession was awarded to Fane International Consult Limited and Artificial Intelligence Technologies Limited.
The expected revenues from these concessions are estimated at N112.8 billion and N63.3 billion, respectively.
