President Buhari has acknowledged the recent Supreme Court decision regarding the Osun governorship election and the crucial role played by the judiciary in promoting democracy and the rule of law.

In a statement issued by his Media Aide, Mr Femi Adesina, the president emphasized the need to focus on delivering good governance and ensuring a prosperous, peaceful and stable Osun.

Buhari urged residents of the state to support Sen. Ademola Adeleke’s government and its efforts to create policies and programs that will benefit individuals and businesses.

The president emphasized that elections should be viewed as a means to achieve progress and not endless conflicts, and he called for unity and cooperation in the state following the conclusion of the legal proceedings.

Buhari expressed appreciation for the significant contributions of the people of Osun to the development of the country, highlighting the state’s cultural heritage and historic sites, such as the Osun Osogbo Sacred Grove, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

He promised that the Federal Government would continue to work to harness the state’s vast resources to foster national development and prosperity.
