KPMG Nigeria has released a survey that shows Polaris Bank has been ranked as the most improved bank under the retail segment. Polaris Bank improved five places to sixth position in the retail segment and also achieved third place under the SME segment.
The KPMG Nigeria survey showed that Polaris Bank received praise from many customers for its personalised service, proactive problem-solving, and faster turnaround times. The survey also revealed that the bank had significantly improved its mobile banking propositions, onboarding, and payments experience. The bank was also highly rated for the quality of its payment solutions and timely resolution of POS-related complaints.

The survey also listed Polaris Bank’s digital platform, VULTe, as a game-changer in making life seamless for personalised and business offerings, with over N1.5 billion loans disbursed through the platform between October 2022 and February 2023.
The bank’s digital platform surpassed its competitors and earned recognition from the Nigerian Interbank Settlement Systems (NIBBS). KPMG Nigeria noted that POS-related issues, such as timeliness of settlements and dispute resolution, were the most critical measures for SMEs.
