Peter Obi vows to keep fighting until his mandate is secured

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has urged workers to remain focused and not be discouraged by the many challenges that exist in Nigeria’s economic and political landscape. Obi made this statement during the May Day celebration in Abuja, where he was warmly welcomed by the crowd. The theme of the event, “Workers Rights and Socioeconomic Justice,” inspired his presidential quest to create a country where workers are happy to work and citizens are proud to call their own, he said.

Obi emphasized that Nigeria has a hardworking workforce that is eager for the country’s development, despite poor worker welfare. He went on to say that he visited the event to show solidarity, as he and all leaders are workers. He encouraged workers to continue building a more productive and prosperous nation, part of the New Nigeria’s offerings.
