Tiwa Savage, popular Nigerian singer, has been selected to perform at the upcoming coronation of King Charles III, the British monarch, in May 2023. The coronation ceremony, which will take place at Westminster Abbey, will officially crown King Charles III and Queen Consort, Camilla.

Tiwa Savage will be the first Nigerian artist to perform at a foreign royal coronation event, and one of the few African artists to participate in the ceremony. The singer will share the stage with other well-known performers such as Steve Winwood, Paloma Faith, DJ Pete Tong, Lang Lang and Lucy, and Olly Murs.

The coronation concert and Big Lunch will be held on May 7, 2023, a day after the official coronation ceremony.
