Verstappen currently leads the drivers’ championship, ahead of the fifth round in Miami by a slim six-point margin. The Mexican driver, Perez, has won five out of his six F1 victories on street circuits, including two in Baku, Saudi Arabia, Monaco, and Singapore.

Leclerc acknowledged Red Bull’s superior performance in the race and conceded that they were in “another league.” Despite hitting the wall a few times, Perez managed to keep Verstappen under control and believes he can challenge him for the championship title.
