Over 1,222 personnel will be deployed by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun Command, across the state to help manage traffic and clear any obstructions during the Eid-el-fitr celebrations, according to a statement by the Osun Sector Commander, Mr Henry Benamesia.
The state officers and marshals have been deployed to flashpoints in the state to help control traffic, while FRSC officers will be visible throughout the festive period due to heavy vehicular movements.

Benamesia stated that the FRSC will continue its enlightenment campaigns to sensitise road users on the importance of driving safely during and after the celebrations. The aim of the FRSC’s deployment of personnel is to ensure the safety of lives and properties during the festive period.
