Basketmouth further explained that he had chosen to keep quiet about the issue due to certain information he had heard that he was not supposed to know.

He added, “I heard some things that threw me off, and I couldn’t tell him (AY), so I kept quiet.” He also emphasized that the N30,000 debt was not related to any client and was eventually paid to AY by the event organizers.
