Prophet Tomi Arayomi and his wife flee Nigeria after arrest by DSS

Prophet Tomi Arayomi, the Founder of RIG Nation and Pioneer Church in the United Kingdom, recently announced that he and his family have relocated out of Nigeria until a “better Nigeria” emerges.

Arayomi, who is a British citizen along with his wife Tahmar, was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport in Abuja, along with their aide Emmanuel Ezerika, for reasons that were not immediately clear.

Arayomi took to his official Instagram account to break the silence on the issue and express his gratitude for the support they received during the ordeal. He narrated how they were picked up by armed agents who did not identify themselves as DSS or any law enforcement agency, and their mobile phones were confiscated before being taken to the DSS headquarters. After a lengthy interrogation, Arayomi and his wife were released, but their aide remains in custody with the DSS.

Due to concerns for the safety of his young children and wife, Arayomi made the decision to abruptly leave Nigeria, but stated that they remain committed to praying and working for a new Nigeria. He expressed gratitude to leaders and friends who reached out and assured that this is not a goodbye, but rather a temporary relocation with the hope of returning to a new and better Nigeria soon.

The DSS has declined to comment on the issue and has not provided details on the reason for the arrests. Arayomi remains resolute in his commitment to Nigeria and its leaders, and continues to press for positive change in the country.
