Bandits have kidnapped over 80 children aged 12-17 in Zamfara State’s Tsafe Local Government Area, as reported by BBC Hausa. The assailants abducted the children from the bush early on Friday morning and marched them into the forest.

Despite government interventions, banditry persists in Zamfara, with numerous cases of schoolchildren being kidnapped and released upon ransom payment. The abductors have not yet made any demands to the parents, according to BBC’s report.
