In a statement released on Friday, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo expressed his condolences to the governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo Olu, and the people of the state following the tragic train accident that occurred in the Oshodi area of Lagos.

The governor described the incident as unfortunate and expressed his sympathy towards the families of the deceased. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those who were injured.
