The Minister of State for Labor and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has expressed enthusiasm about former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s endorsement of the Labor Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Keyamo pointed out that this endorsement was not directed at the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, but rather at the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. Obasanjo had previously endorsed Atiku in the 2019 presidential election, but Keyamo argued that this endorsement was made because of Obi.
