It has been reported that popular Nigerian actor Yomi Alore, also known as Yomi Gold, has announced the end of his marriage to actress Ameenat Abisola, also known as Meenah, just one year after the two secretly tied the knot. This news comes after Yomi ended his previous marriage of 15 years, with which he had two children.

In a post on his official Instagram page, Yomi stated that he and Meenah had decided to go their separate ways and asked that their fans, families, and friends understand and not judge the situation. He also expressed gratitude to those who had been supportive and expressed concern.

Yomi went on to say that Meenah deserves a better man than himself and that he will work on becoming a better person. He emphasized that the decision to end their marriage was not one that was taken lightly and that they wanted to make sure that everyone who knows them was aware of the situation
