Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, gave an explanation for his attendance at the Dunamis International Gospel Center on Friday.

Obi said he went to Dunamis Church to worship and give thanks to God.

While posting pictures of himself at the church’s mid-year praise and worship night, he revealed this.

Recall that the churchgoers gave the former governor of Anambra State a standing ovation as soon as they saw him.

Enenche had summoned the political figures to the altar during the service and requested that they speak a few words on behalf of Nigeria.

The wife of the PDP’s presidential running mate, had been invited by the senior pastor of the church, Paul Enenche. Edith Ifeanyi Okowa, Akwa Ibom State Governor Emmanuel Udom, and other national political figures

Nevertheless, Obi stated in a tweet: “I enjoyed an uplifting and exhilarating 8 hours of fellowship with other Nigerians at Dunamis Gospel 2022 Mid Year Praise and Worship, with @DrPaulEnenche, his family, and other dignitaries.” I gave God thanks during that fortunate event.

Obi remembered his plea and penned, “God, we have only Nigeria as our nation. I beg you, deliver us. Spare us, please. Nigeria cannot decline. Let this country see your brilliance. God is merciful!
